element - psychophenomenon
To my shame I have to admit "PsychoPhenomenon" is another of those releases that should have been reviewed some weeks ago. Just one excuse, I don't have the use to listen again to a release when the review is done... so, I always find some good reasons to avoid reviewing "PsychoPhenomenon" as it gives me the opportunity to listen again to the eight songs of this album. As you now can guess, I was thus pretty impressed when I dropped this album into my cd-reader. The music is a cross between fast and furious death/ black metal with a rather important melodic Emperor linking reinforced by those specific keys parts coupled with some clear guitar solo action and some high grade mid tempos death metal surroundings. My promo also features three extra tracks coming from the - 2001 Daemonopolis - demo. There are also a lot of slower passages (not the most interesting parts of Element's music) to break up the fast bits and it gives thus a good variation right across the albums. I like this stuff (mainly the most violent and fast tracks).
